A Car getting fire is going viral on Social Media such as Facebook, Twitter etc.  The video is also shared on WhatsApp.

“There was a couple in a car. The lady sprayed perfume on her body. The man next to her was smoking… causing an explosion! With the fire burning, and the door couldn’t be opened to escape, the two were charred to death; advised ladies/gents not to use perfume-spray inside the car when someone smoking or anywhere near fire-site, like, kitchen, havan, open-fire, etc”

The video have been uploaded by a Facebook Page CCTV in Pune.  The video has been viewed over 16 lakh times and shared close to 25,000 times.

This video is also posted by Facebook pages – Punjab Update and Citizen Journalist of Arunachal Pradesh.  They have also generate more than 100,000 views. Many other pages and individuals on Facebook have shared the video.

The video have been shared and liked on Facebook for a significant number of times.

Is It True

We have done a thoroughly check for this video.  What we find in our investigation is here.

This video is origionally from China not from Pune, India.  The Page CCTV in Pune have not disclose the location where the incident take place.  But on Internet, many chinese website are showing the same video with the location of a village of Liquan County in Shaanxi Province, China.  We have found many articles for the same on Chinese websites.

According to leading Chinese website, the exploision have taken place in China’s Zianyang city.  China Global Television Network had also reported the incident on 19th March.

In China, the video goes viral with the same message as in India.

Whats the Reason of Explosion

A Minibus was transporting gas cylinders exploded after catching fire in northern China’s Xianyang city. One person, who was the driver seated in the car, died in the explosion.

The Facebook Pages should investigate before publishing such videos with false interpretation.
