Shraddha Das is an Indian film actress who has appeared in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada and Bengali films. She had two Hindi releases, the romantic comedy Lucky Kabootar and the widely publicised Vivek Agnihotri erotic thriller Zid.
Personal Life – She was born on 4 March 1987 in Mumbai, Maharashtra to Bengali parents. Her father is businessman, who hails from Punjab, her mother is a housewife. She was brought up in Mumbai, where she completed her studies. Shraddha graduated from University of Mumbai at SIES College of Commerce and Economics with a Bachelor of Mass Media degree in journalism.
Career – Shraddha Das’ debut release was the 2008 Telugu film Siddu from ‘Sikakulam’. In 2010 she made her Bollywood debut in Sai Om Films’ maiden venture ‘Lahore’, directed by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan.
She made her Bengali debut with The Royal Bengal Tiger (2014). Later that year, she had two Hindi releases, the romantic comedy Lucky Kabootar and the widely publicised Vivek Agnihotri erotic thriller Zid; both films opened to negative to mixed critical response, although Das stated that she benefited from Zid and received more offers from Bollywood after its release.
She has also been roped to feature in 2016 Bollywood adult comedy film “Great Grand Masti”.She completed her graduation from Mumbai University on Journalism. She had an experience in the theatre performance since she was a student. She acted in many advertisement and she is also a good singer and dancer. She had a little experience on martial arts.
Her father is a businessman of Bombay and her mother Sapna Das is a homemaker. She has a little brother. She got a huge popularity with her appearance on the movie named Sidhu which was directed by Srikakulam. She appeared in the erotic thriller named Zid which made her popular in the Bollywood industry. Currently she is working on some horror films in Telugu, Kannada and in Hindi languages.
