IPL 2015 Auctions are finally happening on February 16th 2015.Venue: Bangalore. Hype for IPL 2015 Auctions are increasing daily. IPL 2015 Auction date has been announced – Feb 16.Royal challengers Bangalore have got Mandeep Singh. Chennai team hangs in balance as Supreme court has delivered a blow to Srinivasan. Dhoni has announced that T20 and OD cricket format will be his focus. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has released four players. David Hussey, John Hastings and Ben Hilfenhaus, Vijay Shankar are the players to be released into the IPL 2015 auctions pool by CSK. Kevin Pietersen, Dinesh Karthik and Murali Vijay have been discarded by Delhi daredevils team for IPL 2015. Karthik had earlier played for Mumbai Indians in 2012 and 2013. Trading window for IPL 2015 closed by 12th December 2015. The 1st Trading Window for the Pepsi IPL 2015 is already open from Monday, 6 October 2014, and will end on Friday, 12 December 2014. Details will be out anytime. Expectations are increasing for IPL Auctions. Mumbai Indians have picked cleverly Unmukt Chand from Rajasthan Royals and R. Vinay Kumar from Kolkata Knight Riders, respectively. Mumbai Indians have also cleared Michael Hussey and Praveen Kumar , both of whom may enter the IPL 2015 Player Auction. IPL new Auction 2014 Retention Rules:
The new retention rules could cause a heartburn and regurgitation!!!! lol for chennai and mumbai mostly. Thwy would be left with just around 20 crores to shop the rest of the players. Most teams would want to retain their captain and few match winning players. Chennai would never let go of dhoni and likewise mumbai will not let go Rohit Sharma. Jadeja and Raina could also be retained by chennai. Hussey would be picked back by chennai during auctions. Corey Anderson from New Zealand could spring a surprise this auction.
