Ekta Kapoor is all set to bring the reboot version of the classic show Kasauti Zindagi Ki and its return as Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 has fans excited and thrilled. Naturally it also had tele-buffs anxious about who will step into the shoes of those iconic characters. Yes, the TV maverick and Balaji’s head- honcho, Ekta did drop a few hints but mostly it was mystery. Until of course, the promo surfaced and pictures from the sets got leaked leading us to Erica Fernandes as Prerna and Parth Samthaan who will be stepping into the shoes of Anurag. While Komolika’s role hasn’t been finalised yet, Hina Khan stands as a strong contender.

But amidst all the buzz, a new set of picture of Erica as Prerna are doing the rounds and boy, is it making us nostalgic. Dressed in a red salwar kameez, Erica looks beuatiful. To be honest, it has also heightened our hopes for a  the return of the fluttering red dupatta that was a signature style of the classic. Here, see for yourself!

This daily soap is all set to air from September 10, this year and will take up the 8 pm slot. Currently, the political satire, Har Shaakh Pe Ullu Baithaa Hai is being aired on that slot but it will go off air and Kasautii will be taking it up. Earlier, newly launched Nazar was supposed to take over but that didn’t happen. Some reports suggest that Barun Sobti may play the role of Mr Bajaj. However, the actor has refrained from commenting on it.
