Knowing the music of that period perhaps it would have become annoying with its sameness. But the music choices are undeniably intrusive at times. Still a small price to pay for the pleasure of binge-watching this series. I loved Cable Girls and thought the music was great. Made the show more interesting. Loved Blanca and Yon and actually the whole cast was terrific in their roles. I also loved the wardrobes of women.
Music is modern and seems odd at times and becomes a character itself.
