Ankit Gera was born on 1 september, 1987 in Delhi. He has completed his studies from Delhi. He always had a dream to become an actor but he never took part in any play or drama in his school time. He moved to Mumbai to pursue his career in acting. He became famous when he played the role of Aadarsh in the famous show Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya followed by popular series Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke on Zee Tv.
In Bigg Boss 9
Bigg Boss has started with its new season which has the ‘Double Trouble’ theme. Ankit Gera was seen as one of the contestant of the show and was paired with Singer Arvind Nageda but he got eliminated from the house. The choice was in between Arvind and Ankit and unfortunately Ankit got the least amount of votes. About the eviction Ankit said, “No one expected me to get evicted. I was friendly and normal to everyone as they all were nice to me on my face. Little did I know people were bitching about me behind my back. After I came out, I realised I shouldn’t have been friendly.”
